The following resources were used as part of a course, Publishing Archaeology on the Web: An introduction, organised by Oxford University Department for Continuing Education and held on 13th-14th December 1999.
Their main purpose was to demonstrate how documents using hyperlinks could be produced quite easily and how much more useful they were than simple printed handouts. At the request of the students, they will remain here for some time to allow them to download the files from home or work. Others are welcome to read them.
Oxford University is running a related course on May 17th 2000 (Excavation Reports: Who are they for?) at which I will be speaking on the topic of
Is the Future Digital? Archaeological Publication and the Internet.
